In outback Queensland, Dulux PC provided premium UV protection for a new airpark canopy set to draw visitors day and night. Our coatings solution delivered on durability and colour.

The facade cladding of the Qantas hangar offices at Canberra airport had significantly faded over time, and the client had considered replacing the cladding altogether. Site samples of Dulux Luxepoxy 4 White Primer and Dulux Weathermax HBR in factory packaged Golden Yellow, and applied by roller, demonstrated the cost savings and dramatic aesthetic improvement this system could achieve. Despite the fact that the project was carried out in Canberra's cold winter, the applicator's skills produced an excellent finish that pleased everyone involved. The Luxepoxy 4 White Primer and Weathermax HBR system works over a variety of cladding materials, such as compressed fibre cement sheet (CFC). For recoating aged facade cladding materials, a site sample, followed by a cross-hatch adhesion test is always recommended.

Queens Riverside features an aluminium screen that the client wished to have a metallic finish, yet required graffiti resistance. Quantum FX and Quantum Clearcoat fulfilled the brief perfectly.

The front of the QV1 on the iconic awning jutting out onto St Georges Terrace in the heart of the Perth CBD is protected against corrosion, graffiti and UV deterioration with Durebild STE surface tolerant epoxy, Durebild STE MIO for heavy duty barrier protection, and a fluoropolymer topcoat, Duration T80 for outstanding durability.

The striking Oculus structure in Perth's QV1 Plaza is protected against corrosion, graffiti and UV deterioration with a three coat system that exceeds a high durability PUR5 system as described in AS/NZS2312.1:2014. The first coat is Zincanode 402, a zinc rich primer for galvanic corrosion protection, Duremax GPE MIO for heavy duty barrier protection, and a fluoropolymer topcoat, Duration T80 for outstanding durability.
