Application of a high-quality coating system on the external mild steel surfaces of the Whitten Oval Training Facility exceeding the standards set out by AS2312.1:2014 PUR 4. The coating system provides excellent corrosion protection, adhesion, barrier protection, durability, UV resistance, and weathering performance.

The WIN Stadium is a major sports venue in a severely corrosive coastal location, and subject to intense UV radiation, corrosive salt laden air and the occasional "sandblast" on windy days. As with all public spaces, protection against graffiti is also important. A high durability high build epoxy intermediate barrier coat and polyurethane topcoat tick all the boxes.

Some of the items painted in this project include conveyor trusses and hoppers for the processing of lithium on site before being transported off site.

Storing and handing highly corrosive ammonium nitrate, XBulk's 90-tonne vessels and transfer augers required heavy duty coatings applied in line with mining specifications. High build, glass flake technology led this specification.

A bold red public art installation required UV protection and graffiti resistance in Queensland. Dulux's Duration T80 was the ideal solution.
